What I Do

I've been asked a few times about what it is that I do and where I work. I work in an auto assembly plant that builds Ford Mustangs and Mazda 6's. The plant itself is owned jointly by Ford and Mazda and is really a separate entity in itself. We have to compete for products just like any other plant. That's to say that if we don't build quality products, the main companies won't give us new products to build. I work in the paint shop of this plant and have been there for 19 years. I guess this gives a good look at where I work and what I do lol. Till next time BYE!!

did you paint that one mike? I agree with Bee, if they would go back to 1965 they would sell more cars.....

So, with the major downsizing now going on at Ford, does this have any impact on your job? Just wondering there and I would think it might be a tad worrisome to be employed in that line of work right now.

Then you'd love to know my wife's getting an Expedition EL at the end of the year!

my boyfriend owns a Mazda 6. way overpriced if you ask me. I am happy they went back to a similar body style to the original on the mustangs though. those 90's mustangs made me gag!

Just so you know, I don't paint the cars, robots do that. I actually seal the inside of the car which is done in the paint shop.
