Heads or Tails

This weeks Heads or Tails meme is any part of (or place in) a home. For this weeks meme I'm going to post something that I got from work recently. It commemorates my 20 years of service to Fords. Originally I was hired in as a Mazda worker even though our main product was the Ford Probe. For those who don't know it, this plant was a joint venture between Ford and Mazda. Several years into working at the Mazda plant, we were asked if we would like to be covered under the Ford UAW agreement and the only way to do that was to become part of Fords, so we did. It has now been 20 years since I started working there and it is quite the accomplishment. I am now the Major Model Trainer for my unit which means I train people how to work on new products (cars) that we will be building. This includes the new 2009 Mazda6 that will be built at my plant starting in a few months. We've also been building the Ford Mustang for several years which has been a very good selling vehicle. I guess you're wondering where this is going huh? Well, the certificate I received last week will someday be gracing one of our walls. I've included a picture of my certificate here to show you what it looks like. I also got a watch to go along with it. Pretty neat I think. The time has certainly flew by. It sure doesn't seem like I've been there all that time. I've blocked out my last name to protect the innocent lol.

Till next time BYE!!

Yes, your wall would look great with the certificate. Make sure you pick a good frame to showcase it.

Congratulations on your 20 years!

Stop on by and visit my Victorian House, bring the certificate and we can put it on the marble fireplace and admire it while you visit!

Poor Hubby & I have only purchased Fords (& a Mercury) so far. We're loyal, but my dream car is a Jeepie. When my settlement from my accident last year comes in, that's what I'm going for! (Smashed up the Ford I was driving @ that time.) Zoom zoom! Happy Tuesday. :)

What a huge accomplishment! And to be training others - I'm impressed. It will look wonderful up on the wall.
