Today got off to a good start. When I got up, Skittles was looking at another blog and told me that that bloggers hubby had yesterday as well as today off because of a parts issue. The bloggers hubby just happened to work where I work. So I took a look at the picture on the blog and sure enough, I knew him. Just to make sure I listened to the radio station that airs news reports about our plant. Yep, I had today off too lol. We don't usually get days off like this. The last time was when there was a fire in the paint shop. We got a week off then. Other than that, there have been maybe 2 times that we have gotten the day off because of parts shortages. And that's in nearly 19 years at this plant. Not a bad track record really. But I won't complain. I'll just stay home and continue to make some MP3's with my new USB turntable lol.
