Thursday

It's been a very nice week here. Skittles and I picked up our grandson Jakob and his mother on Sunday and had them stay with us till we took them home on Wednesday. Jakob was quite the little helper while I was at work. He helped his grandma with many chores around the apartment. It was hard to figure out who got the biggest kick out of his helping, Jakob or Grandma. We played some video games and I let him play my bass guitar a bit. I have to admit it was nice getting home and getting a hug from my grandson everyday. I'll be off for shutdown in another week and we'll probably pick him up again so he can stay with us some more. It's been awhile since we've had any small ones around for any length of time here. But I think it's nice that we get to see him now as we all know how fast they grow up. That's about all for now.
